Blasted has been on the scene since November 2002, however today's Blasted
is an entirely different band. This dually fronted rock machine is steadily
climbing the cover charts and becoming one of the hardest working bands
on the scene. Out in front for Blasted are Kara and Ryan. ONe of the
most charismatic duos in the cover world today, Kara and Ryan deliver
the hits from three decades worth of music. Whether its Steve Miller,
Blondie, Journey, Disturbed or Evanescence, it's all part of a BLasted
show. Continually thriving on the fans' energy, Blasted's secondary
focus (first being the music) is crowd interaction. Giving away everything
from free concert tickets to free drinks - any crowd anywhere has a
good time at a Blasted show. Represented by STARS Productions, Blasted
plays most of the larger venues in Jersey and has a solid fan base both
on the shore and in north Jersey. Playing steadily four nights a week,
you can catch this dynamic act pretty much anywhere.
Since their debut last year, the band has gone through significant changes.
Member adjustments and adding a front man alongside Kara helped further
develop what Blasted set out to accomplish as a cover act.
Behind the fronter's are Johnny on guitar, J-3 on bass, Matt on keys,
and DJ on drums. Ryan and Kara cover all the coolest rock from tough
chick anthems to screaming straight ahead rock. Switching things up
they let Matt take the lead on Eminem's "Lose Yourself" a
crowd favorite everywhere. These guys cover all the bases and wow the
club each time they take the stage.
With each part of this six piece act now firmly in place, Blasted continues
making serious strides up the cover ladder. Every Wednesday at Pub 46
in Clifton they party with the northerners, then head down to the shore
every Thursday to shake up Sea Bright at the Mad Hatter. Their schedule
has taken them out to Vermont and Long Island as well as Pennsylvania.
You can catch the band pretty much anywhere. Stay tuned to this intoxicating
bunch to see what they have in store for you in 2004.
